Users worldwide report problems with Instagram such as sign-in errors and delayed updates. Downdetector data shows a sharp rise in outage reports over the past hours. All the app and website appear non-functional concurrently. Meta has yet to release a statement about this outage as of 22 July 2026. Reports matching have been noted across its parent platform, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
