William Hill's owner has attributed the company's revenue decline to the dominance of Manchester City. The owner has urged the British government to prevent increases in gambling taxes following the closure of 270 shops. The owner maintains that the decrease in revenue is a result of Manchester City's success in the Premier League. The owner's appeal comes as the company faces difficulties from rising taxes and the shutting down of numerous shops. The UK government has yet to respond to the owner's request.
